For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).
This Sunday we have a worship Service of the Word before the summer break!
Our Bible readings always speak to our situations and our world. And coming Sunday, Deuteronomy 30:9-14 encourages us that God’s ‘word is very near you.’ And Jesus’ brilliant parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) challenges us, empowered by the love of God, to step beyond fears and prejudices and help our wounded world.
We hope you can us this Sunday at 10:30 for worship, prayer, praise and fellowship afterwards! And we will also have an activity for our youngest members.
