For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Service of the Word (2nd Sunday of Easter)

10:30: Service of the Word

Readings: Acts 4:32-35; 1 John 1:1-2:2; John 20:19-31

Though it’s not yet possible for us to gather physically for worship, by the Spirit and using the internet, we can worship together online. And we’ll do this again this Sunday at 10:30 am, via our Grace YouTube channel.
For this Second Sunday of Easter, we hear how the first believers shared everything (Acts 4:32-35), how John encourages them and us to live our faith in the Risen Lord by walking in the light and away from the darkness of sin (1 John 1:1-2:2), and about the wondrous moments when Jesus appeared to the disciples locked up in their room and also to ‘doubting’ Thomas, later (John 20:19-31).
We are called to receive and share Christ’s peace and forgiveness, and walk in His light, sharing with others the life of love and joy He brings!
We hope you can join us online for worship!
