For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Easter Sunday Holy Communion Service

Grace Church Easter Sunday Celebration with Holy Communion

This coming Sunday is of course one of the most important in the whole year: Easter Sunday, when we celebrate the resurrection of Christ! As ever, we hope you can join us for this!
Please do be aware that the clocks will change, going forward by an hour on this Saturday night/Sunday morning. ????
And from 9:00 am, there will be a bring-and-share Easter breakfast, so feel to free to come early and bring along some food to share.
And at 10:30 am, we’ll have our service of thanks and celebration of communion, reflecting God’s promises in Isaiah 25:6-9 (a powerful vision of joyfully celebrating the Lord’s salvation), Peter’s brave witness in Acts 10:34-43 (when he speaks of the resurrection of Christ and that all who believe in it are welcome!) and of course Mark 16:1-8 (the dazzling encounter that three faithful, caring female friends of Jesus have in his empty tomb). There is nothing like Easter and what it means to us all!
During the service, there will be a children’s activity, and afterwards we will share coffee, tea and fellowship together.
We look forward to celebrating this joyful Eastertide with you, and rejoicing in the new life Christ gives us with you!
