For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Holy Communion (2nd Sunday after Trinity)

This Sunday we gather for worship and celebrate Holy Communion together!

Our Bible readings are from Galatians 5:1, 13-25 and Luke 9:51-62.

St Paul invites us to rejoice in our freedom in Christ, but also always to live as God’s loving Spirit leads us, and so not to misuse or abuse our precious freedom. And in Luke, Jesus reminds us that though following him is valuable beyond all measure, it brings its challenges and does come at a cost. But it’s worth it!

We do hope you can join us as we worship in the church building. And we will have activities for our youngest members. 🙂

For now, we continue to offer a livestream for those who cannot be with us physically, on our Grace Church YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVa4IiKGWhIsV61Xktuxcog .

Here is a pdf of the order of service:

Blessings and we hope to see you soon!
