For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of Holy Communion (Last Sunday after Trinity)

This coming Sunday we gather for worship at 10:30 am to share Holy Communion!

For this Last Sunday after Trinity, often observed as Bible Sunday, our readings include Romans 15:1-6 (where Paul urges us to look after each other for and in Christ); Psalm 119:105-112; and
Luke 4:16-24 (where, at a synagogue in his hometown of Nazareth, Jesus reads from Scripture about his own mission to bring healing and freedom, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, to the surprise of those present!).

The Revd Kasta Dip will preach, and we very much look forward to his thoughtful reflections again.

And we will also offer an activity for our youngest members, of course. 🙂

Here is a copy of the liturgy:

Blessings and until soon!
