For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of the Word (17th Sunday after Trinity)

This Sunday we have our 10:30 Service of the Word, and we meet, pray, reflect, sing and rejoice together!

Our readings for this 17th Sunday after Trinity are from 2 Timothy 2:8-15 (Paul’s appeal to remember always the new life Christ has brought, and to remind others of it) and Luke 17:11-19 (when Jesus heals 10 lepers, and but only one, a Samaritan, gives him thanks and praise for it). Both remind us never to forget God’s healing and life-giving work in Christ, to receive it whoever we are, and share it with whomever we encounter!

We look forward to welcoming and worshipping with you!

We will also offer an activity for our youngest members. 🙂

Apologies, but we cannot offer a livestream this Sunday.

Blessings and until soon!

And here’s a pdf of the liturgy:
