Groningen Prayer Walk this Wednesday (11 May) evening at 19:30!
Grace Church invites you to walk with us as we take part in the Church of England’s special Week of Prayer leading up to Pentecost. Churches in Britain and all over Europe are offering all sorts of opportunities for prayer, recalling how the first believers gathered in Jerusalem to pray, before the Holy Spirit powerfully descended on them at Pentecost.
Here in Groningen, we’ll start on the steps of the VVV tourist office on the Grote Markt (pictured) at 19:30, and then walk to seven nearby places in the Binnenstad that will focus our prayers for our city and our world, drawing on elements of the prayer Jesus taught us (the Lord’s Prayer) to guide us.
