10:30 Service of Holy Communion, onsite and online
Readings: Acts 2:1-21; Romans 8:22-27; John 15:26-27; 16:4b-15
This Sunday, May 23rd, is the great festival of Pentecost, when we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit being poured out on all who believe!
And we can gather again onsite in the church building on the Witte de Withstraat for worship at 10:30am.
We are still understandably limited to a 30 person maximum, so will also provide a livestream, so all can take part.
Our Bible readings include, of course, the marvel of the first Pentecost from Acts 2, but also Romans 8:22-27 (how the Spirit cares for and comforts us) and John 1515:26-27 & 16:4b-15 (where Jesus witnesses that the Spirit will also be our guide and advocate in God’s truth). What encouragement and inspiration!
For all able to attend in person, we’ll provide hand sanitation and set seats at advised distances apart. We cannot sing congregationally, and we do need wear facemasks throughout (except those under 12 years old). And if you are feeling unwell, it’s best to stay home.
If you want to attend, we do need to know preferably by Saturday (May 22nd) afternoon, so we can prepare everything well, thank you.
Please let us know if you plan to come by either:
1) responding with ‘Going’ to the event invitation in the Grace Facebook Group,
or
2) sending a message via email to chaplaingracechurchgn@gmail.com

• There is no planned children’s activity offered during the service, but if something is to be organized afterwards, we will let you know.
• There can be no coffee/tea time after our morning service in the building itself under the circumstances. Apologies!
