I was born and grew up in a small rural community in the Netherlands. Since then I have worked and lived, together with my husband Benno and our three sons, in the Central African Republic for 8 years, in Vancouver for a year, and in Oxford, UK, for another 8 years. I have mostly worked in theological education, and the education of women in French speaking Africa is my passion. Since moving back to the Netherlands, have I become a Mission Partner for the Church Mission Society, supporting missiological and theological education in Africa (mainly French speaking) and Asia.
