This Sunday we come together for worship at 10:30 am to share Holy Communion!
This Sunday (October 26th) is the Last Sunday after Trinity, which we and many Anglican churches around the world observe as Bible Sunday.
Our readings are from Romans 15:1-16, where Paul encourages us to look after each other, live in harmony, caring for the weak and not serving ourselves but others, and from Luke 4:16-21, when Jesus stands up in the synagogue to read from Isaiah about how the Spirit of the Lord also inspired and gifted him to look after the most needy. People were shocked then and still are about selfless, serving leadership, which we still need so much in our world. So these are, as ever, timely readings for us. Scripture always speaks to us!
We look forward to welcoming and worshipping with you!
And we will also offer an activity for our youngest members, and share coffee, tea and cookies after the service.
Blessings and until soon!
