This Sunday we will gather for worship at 10:30 am to share Holy Communion!
Our timely readings from Scripture this Sunday (1 Timothy 6 and Luke 16:19-31) invite us to look to God and live God’s love for one another, and not be fixated by money and other material matters. Jesus’ parable about poor Lazarus and the rich man is intended to motivate us to live sympathetic, charitable lives in the here and now. And Paul’s letter to Timothy also warns us about the dangers of pursuing wealth and power, and encourages us to seek godliness with contentment, that we may care for others, and fight the good fight of faith, to reduce harm and disarray.
We look forward to welcoming and worshipping with you!
And we will also offer an activity for our youngest members, and share coffee, tea and cookies after the service.
Blessings and until soon!
