On Sunday, November 12th, we gather again for worship at 10:30am.
In addition to it being the 3rd Sunday before Advent, November 12th is Remembrance Sunday, when we honor those who have lost their lives in conflict, and also when we remember and light candles for beloved friends and family members who have passed away in this or in recent years.
If you would like to have someone commemorated in the service, please do send the Chaplain their full name (first and last names), by November 11th if possible (though names can be added in person, on the day, of course). You may send the names by e-mail to chaplaingracechurchgn@gmail.com or leave a telephone message at 050 785 0703.
Our readings for Remembrance Sunday are from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (where Paul encourages grieving believers with hope in the Resurrection) and Matthew 25:1-13 (Jesus tells the parable of the wise and foolish maidens, so that all will be living lives of hope and kind service, and well prepared for what is to come!).
During the service we will offer an activity for our youngest members, and after the service we will share coffee, tea and fellowship. We wish you well and look forward to being with you for this important Sunday!
