This Sunday we gather to celebrate and share Holy Communion together at 10:30 am.
Interestingly, after our last service’s Gospel reading about Jesus walking on water and also rescuing Peter, this Sunday’s Gospel reveals Peter strikingly recognizing Jesus as the Messiah (Matthew 16:13-20)! And Paul’s letter to the Romans also reflects on our calling, as the Body of Christ, to identify with Jesus, and to seek to serve in the ways we are gifted and called (Romans 12:1-8).
Both these readings invite us to see God and also our own lives differently through God, and how God’s love and Spirit can transform our perspectives, and us and the world.
During the service, for our youngest members, we’ll offer a children’s activity too, and afterwards, we will enjoy coffee and tea together.
We do hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you!
