This Sunday, after our summer break, we come together again for a Service of Holy Communion at 10:30 am.
Our Bible readings for this coming Sunday (10th after Trinity) are the powerful passages from 1 Kings 19:9-18 (where Elijah, in crisis, has fled to the hills and a cave, but the Lord speaks to him in a still, small voice, encouraging him to continue his calling for the Lord’s mission) and Matthew 14:22-33 (when Jesus walks out to his lonely disciples on a rough lake at night, and brings them peace and safety, despite their doubts). Always, especially in challenging times, God’s care and our prayer are vital to us.
During the service, for our youngest members, we will offer a children’s activity too, and afterwards, we all enjoy coffee and tea and further fellowship together.
We do hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you!
