This Sunday we gather to celebrate and share Holy Communion together with each other at 10:30 am. And please be aware that winter time begins on Saturday night/Sunday morning, so clocks will go back an hour, so one gets some extra rest.
This Last Sunday after Trinity (25 October) is often observed as Bible Sunday, and this year’s readings include Matthew 24:30-35, where, after warning his disciples of the destruction of the temple and signs of the end-times, Jesus reminds them and us that ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away’ (so we continue to learn and to have hope, regardless what is happening), and Colossians 3:12-17, where Paul also invites us to allow the message of Christ to dwell in us richly so that we will, like him, be ‘clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience’ as well as love of course. Wonderful Scripture to inspire us to live the life of Christ together, no matter what.
During the service, for our youngest members, we’ll offer a children’s activity too, and afterwards, we will enjoy coffee and tea together.
We do hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you!
