For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Morning Prayer (1st Sunday after Epiphany)

Grace Morning Prayer

A Happy and Blessed New Year to you all!
We will have a service of Morning Prayer on Sunday, January 10th at 10:30 am, but owing to lockdown restrictions and our desire to keep everything safe, we will offer it online via You Tube, as the church building will be closed.

The readings for the 1st Sunday after Epiphany are:
Genesis 1:1-5 (The beginning of Creation!);
Psalm 29;
Acts 19:1-7 (Paul baptizes new believers at Ephesus, in the Holy Spirit); and
Mark 1:4-11 (Jesus’ baptism by John in the Jordan).
New beginnings, new creation, in, by and with the Spirit of God, unify all these passages, and they are all very appropriate for the beginning of a New Year, full of new life in Christ!
We hope you can you can join with us in worship coming Sunday!
