For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Holy Communion (Christ the King Sunday), 2023

Coming Sunday, November 26th, we gather for a service of Holy Communion at 10:30am, and we are delighted that the Revd Kasta Dip will be preaching!

This Sunday is the Last Sunday before Advent, and is also celebrated as Christ the King Sunday. Our readings for Sunday are from Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24 (where the Lord himself promises to come and look after His sheep) and Matthew 25:31-46 (where Jesus tells yet another gripping parable, this time about the sheep and the goats, where the King comes into glory, and rewards his sheep who live out his kindness and compassion for others).

As always, we provide an activity during the service for our youngest members, and we share coffee, tea and fellowship afterwards.

We look forward to worshipping and sharing Communion and fellowship with you this Sunday!
