For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of the Word (13th Sunday after Trinity)

This Sunday we have our 10:30 Service of the Word, and we meet, pray, reflect, sing and rejoice together!

Our Gospel reading is from Luke 15:1-10 (where Jesus tells the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin, and invites his hearers to understand how God loves and values all, and to help the Lord in His effort to seek and save all, no matter what others may think of them). Our Epistle reading from 1 Timothy 1:12-17 shows how St Paul himself, though once brutal and sinful, recalls with humility how the Lord sought him, reached out to him, confronted him, called him to change and helped him to do so. Paul’s experience demonstrates powerfully how the Lord wants none to be lost.

We look forward to welcoming and worshipping with you!

We will also offer an activity for our youngest members. 🙂

Apologies, but we cannot offer a livestream this Sunday.

Blessings and until soon!
