For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Holy Communion (6th Sunday of Easter)

This Sunday (the 6th in the Easter season), we gather for Holy Communion, give thanks for the healing work of Christ and celebrate the extraordinary new and encouraging perspective God gives us!

Our Bible readings are from Acts 16 (where Paul is called in a new direction); Revelation 21 & 22 (John sees our future together, as heaven and earth become one, and all enjoy the fruit of the tree of life); and John 5:1-9 (where Jesus heals a lame person who had suffered a long time).

All these passages are to fill us with hope and open us to new and abundant life with and for God.

We hope you can join us as we worship in the church building, but, if you cannot, we will also aim to offer a livestream on our Grace Church YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVa4IiKGWhIsV61Xktuxcog .

Blessings and until soon!
