For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of the Word (4th Sunday of Easter)

This Sunday (the 4th in the Easter season), we give thanks for the Lord Jesus, our Good Shepherd, who knows and loves each of us, but also our Paschal Lamb, who gives and gave his life for us. And He invites us to know him better and follow Him!

Our Bible readings include Psalm 23, and also Revelation 7:9-17, where a great multi-national multitude in heaven worship the Lamb, a vision of our blessed future. But of course we will also hear a passage from John 10, where Jesus shares that He is the Good Shepherd, and how.

These give us comfort and hope, and remind us of our Saviour’s accompaniment of and care for us, as He leads us to better things!

We hope you can join us as we worship in the church building, but, if not, we will also aim to offer a livestream on our Grace Church YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVa4IiKGWhIsV61Xktuxcog .

Blessings and until soon!
