For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of Holy Communion (4th Sunday after Trinity)

This Sunday, the Fourth after Trinity, we come together to worship and share Holy Communion!

We are also delighted to welcome the Revd Angela Berben, who will preach and preside in our service!

Our Bible readings for this Sunday are as follows: Genesis 22.1-14 (where Abraham is tested, but Isaac is finally spared); Psalm 89:1-4, 15-18; Romans 6:12-23 (how we are set free from sin, so should not serve it, but be slaves to righteousness instead) and Matthew 10:40-42 (Jesus reminds his followers that whoever welcomes them, prophets and righteous people, and also looks after those in need, will be rewarded). May we, at this and all times, offer cups of living water!

During the service, we will also offer a children’s activity for our youngsters, and afterwards, we also welcome all to share coffee, tea and fellowship together.

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday!
