This Sunday, we come together to celebrate and share a Service of the Word at 10:30 am.
Our Bible readings are from Romans 5:1-8 (where Paul reminds us of how we have been saved through Christ’s sacrifice, but that also gives us peace and hope and perseverance through the difficulties we face) and Matthew 9:35-10:8 (when Jesus alerts his disciples that harvest is coming and is plentiful, but the workers are few, so he sends out his disciples on a compassionate mission of healing, and acknowledges that they [and we] will continue to face challenges). These remind us of our serious calling to share God’s love all around us, and also of God’s support in and through all this. Inspiring and encouraging readings.
During the service, for our youngest members, we’ll offer a children’s activity too, and afterwards, we will enjoy coffee and tea together.
We look forward to worshipping and fellowship with you!
