For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of Holy Communion (Pentecost Sunday)

This Sunday — Pentecost Sunday — we celebrate the wondrous blessing of God’s Holy Spirit, enlivening, inspiring and motivating us all to receive and share the love of God!

Our service is from 10:30 am, and the wondrous reading from Acts 2:1-21 will of course be central. But we will also recall the Risen Christ’s meeting and bringing peace and the Spirit to his disciples from John 20:19-23, as well as St Paul’s vital reminder to us in 1 Corinthians 12 about God’s many gifts of the Spirit for us and our world, and how they are to bring us all together!

During the service, for our youngest members, we’ll offer a fun children’s activity too.

After the service, we will enjoy coffee and tea together.

We hope you can join us, and look forward to sharing worship and fellowship with you on this very special day.
