For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Morning Prayer (1st Sunday after Epiphany)

Readings: Isaiah 43:1-7; Psalm 29; Acts 8:14-17; Luke 3:15-17, 21-22

A Happy and Blessed New Year to you all!

This Sunday (Jan 9th), at 10:30 am, we will offer worship, but due to the continuing strict lockdown, it will be online, in a livestream, on our Grace Church Groningen YouTube channel.

This first Sunday after Epiphany we celebrate Jesus’ own baptism, and what it means for all of us, living our calling as beloved children of God.

Our readings are from Isaiah 43 (where God assures us He will bring us through all dangers), Acts 8 (about baptism in the Spirit), and Luke 3 (John the Baptist’s witness to Christ and the moment of Jesus’ own baptism).

We hope you can join us online, and wish you a safe and blessed New Year!
