For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of Holy Communion (2nd Sunday of Easter)

This Sunday (27 April), as we continue to celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection, we share a Communion Service together.

Our readings are from Acts 5:27-32, where Peter, after himself having been jailed, courageously and publicly shares the Good News, because it is vital, and from John 20:19-31, where the risen Christ meets and brings peace to his disciples and also, later and especially to Thomas, who had his own struggles. Both these inspiring stories show how Christ speaks into our challenges and lifts us up.

We will also to offer a children’s activity during the service, and afterwards will share coffee, tea, food and fellowship together.

All welcome, and we look forward to being with you this Sunday!
