For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.’ (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Grace Church Service of the Word (3rd Sunday of Lent)

This coming Sunday, March 12th, is the Third Sunday of Lent, and at 10:30 am, we will share a Service of the Word together, followed by a bring-and-share meal, and then our Annual Meeting!

Our readings for Sunday are from Exodus 17:1-7 (when Moses has to strike the rock to get water for his frustrated people) and John 4:5-30 (where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, who discovers the source of Living Water that will renew her life). Both of these readings help to understand all the more what our loving God wants us truly to thirst for — a healthy relationship with Him through Jesus, in the Spirit!

We look forward to worshipping with you and sharing fellowship with you this Sunday!

There will be a children’s activity offered during the service as well, and coffee and tea afterwards.

Blessings and until soon!
